Innocent+Twisted Alchemy- May 2015 Sub

Purchased

Hi!

I know I'm a little late posting this since it's almost the end of the month. Sorry! I was out of state visiting family for a week and just got back a few days ago. This is my first time trying out I+TA's sub! I only bought a trial for this month to see how I'd like it.

Guess what?

I LOVE IT! I think this sub is well worth your money. I opted to buy the deluxe sample trial subscription. I received 3 deluxe sized samples (mini jars) from I+TA, a mini jar from Femme Fatale Cosmetics, a sample baggie from Aromaleigh, a sample clamshell from Siren Song Cosmetics and a lipstick (in a mini jar) from Limnit Lipsticks. Oh! Also a 30% off code to I+TA's shop!

I'll have more information at the bottom of this post about pricing and where to buy!

I swatched all of these over NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skintone. Lip swatch is on bare lips.

Ripley- A medium to dark brown with a greenish silver shift.

Face Hugger- A medium gold with a gold, almost green in some lighting, sheen.

Drone- A dark green with a slight golden/green sheen.

Aromaleigh Cosmetics- Quarantine- A sort of tarnished brown with a golden sheen.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics- Xenomorph- A dark purple with a reddish copper shift.

Siren Song Cosmetics- The Outside World- A sky blue with a slight pink shift

Limnit Lipsticks- Extraterrestrial- "Warm-Toned Brown."
*This is a light layer over bare lips. In person, this tends to be a tiny bit darker*

While swatching, I did notice that Femme Fatale's Xenomorph (I+TA sub exclusive) was very similar to Femme Fatale's Night in Werewolf Woods. I did a quick swatch to show their similarities.

Xenomorph on the left, Night in Werewolf Woods on the right.

Night in Werewolf Woods seems to have more of a copper shift, but they are pretty close. I like them both and I only have a sample of Night in Werewolf Woods, so I'm okay with it! :)

All of these colors are exclusive except The Outside World and Extraterrestrial. I believe any overstock of Ripley, Face Hugger and Drone will be sold on Innocent+Twisted Alchemy's website.

You can purchase your I+TA subscription HERE! Deluxe Samples are $12 a month within the US and $16 for international (these both include shipping). Full Sizes are $18 a month for US and $22 a month for international (both include shipping).

Feel free to check out any of the stores listed below!

Aromaleigh- Anthousai Collection Swatches

Press Samples

Hi Everyone!

Recently Aromaleigh Cosmetics released their Anthousai collection which is based off of  "the Greek Flower Nymphs, and stories of their metamorphoses into flowers and plants. Each shade is inspired by a particular nymph, and a beautiful Pre-Raphaelite painting."

This collection features the new eyeshadow formula. If you haven't tried Aromaleigh's newest formula, I highly suggest doing so. It is buttery smooth and applies and blends like an absolute dream! There's no sheerness or fallout that I've experienced. The new formula is also amazing over bare skin, if you prefer wearing your eyeshadows that way!

All are swatched over NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skintone.

Klytie- "a lustrous blue violet with golden and copper shift"

Phyllis- "a pale creamy yellow with a strong copper to rose shift"
*The rose shift is extremely strong in person. My camera doesn't capture it well.*

Rhodeia- "a lustrous rose with blue and violet tones"

Khloris- "a lustrous mint green with a golden glow"

Syrinx- "a gorgeous, chromatic brown with gold and green shifts"

Lotis- "a lustrous peachy pink"

Ianthe- "a lustrous violet with a strong silvery green shift"

Philyra-"a soft buff shade with strong yellowish green duochrome"

Leiriope- "lustrous yellow gold with a green to aqua shift"

Anemone- "a muted red with a strong green to gold shift"

I really loved this collection. All of the colors are so soft and can be worn any time! The shifts in these are much stronger in person, especially Ianthe, Khloris, Leiriope, Philyra, Phyllis and Syrinx. My camera just can't capture all of their shifts! I keep reaching for Ianthe, Leiriope, Philyra and Syrinx. Those have to be my absolute favorites out of them all!

You can purchase all of these or your favorites HERE!

Notoriously Morbid- A Sinister Set

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while! I've been just pretty busy with life and all that fun stuff. I'm back today with Notoriously Morbid's A Sinister Set! This is a trio set that is inspired by the one and only Rob Zombie! I've been a fan of Rob Zombie since I was a kid! I saw him in live about 5 years ago and he really puts on an AWESOME show! I'll attach some photos from the show at the end of the post!

Anyway, on to the Sinister Set! These are full size 5 gram jars. They were a limited set, so unfortunately if you missed out on this set, I don't think there will be another way to get these. Sorry about that!

I did these swatches over two different bases. The first set of swatches will be over ELF Glitter Primer and the second set of swatches will be over NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skintone.

Durango 95 over ELF Glitter Primer

Durango 95 over NYX Eyeshadow Base
Durango '95- "Inspired by the song, Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy), this ash gray shadow has an intense red sheen that catches the light on the center of the lid, but lets the gray create dimension on the outer corner."

Paper Demons over ELF Glitter Primer

Paper Demons over NYX Eyeshadow Base
Paper Demons- "Inspired by the song, Return of the Phantom Stranger, it's a mulberry/plum with golden sparkle and shimmer."

Cemetery Things over ELF Glitter Primer

Cemetery Things over NYX Eyeshadow Base
Cemetery Things- "Inspired by the balls to the wall anthem for sexy spooky girls everywhere, Living Dead Girls. A cool brown/gray with a teal shift. "

I would suggest using these over a primer instead of a glitter base. A glitter base tends to pull more of the base color in and leaves it a little bit patchy. You can still use these over a glitter primer and get great results, but over a normal primer, these are perfect!

Here's my photos from the Rob Zombie show. This was at Mayhem Festival in 2010. I also saw Korn (one of my all time favorite bands), Lamb Of God, Hatebreed, In This Moment, Atreyu and lots of others! One of the best days I've had! If you haven't seen Rob Zombie live, I definitely suggest doing so!

Sorry about the photo quality. This was 5 years ago and I didn't have a great camera at the time.
