I've seen SOOO many people asking about the latest Influenster Voxbox (Spring Beauty) on Influenster's Facebook page. I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure I'll answer a few of your questions.
I am indeed getting a Spring Beauty Voxbox from Influenster. I signed up at the end of March and filled out a few badges. Next thing I know, it says on my Influenster profile that I am selected to receive one and they would send an e-mail in the upcoming weeks. I received an e-mail on April 12th letting me know that I had been selected and I needed to confirm that I wanted the Voxbox by taking a MANDATORY opt-in survey that was included in the email by April 16th. Of course I took the survey as soon as I could.
I don't remember exactly what was on the survey, but I do remember it asking about your skin tone. After I submitted the survey I was done. I received a final confirmation e-mail on April 18th saying that they had gotten my survey and that concealer would be included in my box with my selected skin tone. It also included my address to make sure they were sending the box to the right place. Ever since then it has just been a waiting game. The Spring Beauty Voxboxes were scheduled to ship out on May 1st but they were waiting on the final product and they are shipped out as of today (May 8th).
So here are the questions and statements I've seen a few people make on Influenster's Facebook page. I hope I can clear them up for you. Also if you'd like to ask on their wall, just click HERE.
- "Will I be getting this Voxbox?"/"I hope I get this one!"
You will NOT be getting this Voxbox unless you have completed the mandatory opt-in survey you should have received (if you qualified) in an e-mail around mid-April. If you did the survey and it says you are getting this Voxbox, then great! If you did the survey and it doesn't say you are getting it, please contact Influenster.
- "I filled out all my badges and I still haven't gotten one."
Influenster has said on their Facebook page that the companies were looking for special qualifications. Who knows what that may be. I don't see them releasing that information either or everyone would be trying to fit that qualification to get the Voxbox.
-"If I get the Spring Beauty Voxbox, does that mean I'll get the upcoming Mom Voxbox?"
I'm not 100% sure on that one. I don't think you'll be getting both, it's probably one or the other. They will be selecting those people on Mother's Day, I believe.
-"I should have gotten this Voxbox since I'm a beauty blogger with a lot of followers."
As stated above, they were looking for certain qualifications. Maybe you didn't fit them. Maybe they were looking for new beauty bloggers. Maybe they were letting new people get a Voxbox. We probably won't know.
-"I'm getting pretty tired of not getting a Voxbox."
I'm sure you aren't alone. Just keep filling out any badges that you can. I'm sure you'll eventually get one. Remember this is a pretty new program and there's only been a few boxes before this one.
-"You should tell us some of the things that are in the box!"
Noooo! Who would want the surprise ruined? I'm thinking of it as an early Christmas present! :) The only thing that's been revealed or that I know of is concealer. I don't think anyone knows anything else.
Also, everyone PLEASE keep your address and email address up-to-date. If it is not or it's something you don't check often, change it to something you do check. That's how they will contact you about any future Voxboxes.
I hope this helps if you had any questions or concerns. Feel free to ask any other questions in my comments or on their Facebook page. You'll get other helpful people and answers. Influenster will possibly answer your question directly too!

Spring Beauty Voxbox
So I've been chosen to receive the spring Beauty Voxbox from Influenster! I did the confirmation survey about a week ago and I now know that I am most certainly getting a Voxbox. I also got an email today saying that there would be concealer in the Voxbox with my chosen skin color. Which is pretty awesome. Free samples! They should be shipping out May 1st and once I get it I will be reviewing the products.
Here is an overview of the company and way to sign up!
I believe it's too late to sign up to receive the Spring Beauty Voxbox, but they will be sending out different Voxboxes in the future that you can possibly qualify for. Just remember to earn badges!

Kiss My Sass Cosmetics
So I saw Kiss My Sass cosmetics a while back, at the time I didn't have much money so I waited on it. A few months ago I finally ordered and I'm so glad I did. I absolutely LOVE the colors. I have a big obsession with duochrome/shimmery colors and there are so many! I bought a few samples and put them in my own 3gram jars. My samples came in baggies, but I think it has since been switched over to samples in jars (I can't find the samples I bought, so I'm assuming since I can only find the jars).
The color payoff is great. I didn't get patches and over primer it looks great and lasts for hours.
Photos are swatched wet unless noted.

(From left to right Reign Over Me, Spellbound, Sleepy Hollow, Tattoo Shop, Piercing Parlor, Broken Hearted
Swatched over Urban Decay Primer Potion)
Reign Over Me- A medium dusty sort of purple with hints of blue with turquoise and pink shimmer.
Sleepy Hollow- A medium grey with copper/orange shimmer.
Tattoo Shop- A rich black with a lot of purple and blue sparkles.
Piercing Parlor- A light/medium grey with a silver sheen
Broken Hearted- A red/pink color with gold sheen.
I actually used Spellbound with a look I did the other day and I had a lot of compliments. It was smooth, very easy to apply and blended well.
You can purchase these colors from Kiss My Sass Cosmetics. They come in different sizes and prices range from samples in jars for $2 and full size jars for $5. Each color is linked to it's page in the descriptions.

A Few Things
Hey everyone!
I have gone through so much since last time I've posted. Sorry for that! I WILL be back to posting very soon. Since my last post I've gone through Christmas, New Years, my birthday (21st, WOOT!), moved into a new house, and the birth of my nephew Connor. So it's not like I've been slacking.
I have LOTS of new things to post about on here and on my other blog (Nail blog). I have a few (I believe?) indie companies I need to swatch and review, one I know for sure of is Darling Girl Cosmetics. I have an Urban Decay Naked palette to review and compare. I have a few more things up my sleeve, but that's a sneak peek.
You also may have noticed (if you don't have adblocker on) I have ads running on my sidebar or under posts. I also have websites promoted on my sidebar. These are websites I use to make extra money. Sign up if you'd like. I wouldn't suggest them or put them up unless they are legitimate, by the way. I've also updated my links so they should be all working. Once you click them you will be taken to an ad for a few seconds, but then you can skip at the top right corner. This is a way I make my money, I don't make a lot right now so this is how I have to do it at the moment. If you have ANY issues, let me know. I'll try to tweak and fix them the best I can.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog and posts. I really do appreciate it and I hope you enjoy it too. If you have any suggestions, ideas, or opinions about my blog, please let me know. I'll consider everything!

Wet n' Wild ColorIcon Palette- Lust
Hi Everyone!
I haven't disappeared! I've just been busy! Sorry!!
So I bought this a while back and I've tried to like it, I really have if you can't tell from all the uses this has gotten. But it just won't live up to my standards and I really do not have high standards for things like this.
The top two colors are probably the best in my opinion (the light pink and white). They cover and are not "splotchy" like the others. It's hard to explain. It's kind of like black or darker colors in eyeshadow, they tend not to blend easily or if you want them to look true to their color, you have to pack it on. Which I really don't like.
(Left swatches over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Right are over no primer)
My palette looks horrible, I know. I think I had it in my makeup bag a little too long. This does come with two brushes but I threw them out since I didn't like them at all. I know there are other palettes in this collection so I'm going to find some and see if they are the same or not. I've seen other people with great success with this palette. Maybe mine was bad, I'm not sure. I really want to try the other called "Pride" I love the colors in that one!

LA Colors Palettes- Circus and Ocean Breeze
Hi!
So I have two LA Colors palettes I bought. One is Circus and the other is Ocean Breeze. Overall, I like these palettes for the money. I got them for $1.50 each, which isn't too bad. I've yet to apply them to my eyes, but they were smooth and rich when I was swatching them. I've applied them over NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.

Circus (Swatched the purple before I took this!)
Ocean Breeze
Top is the Circus palette. Bottom is the Ocean Breeze palette.
They are both shimmery and sort of metallic, so if you like those types of eyeshadow, you should check these out. The only thing I didn't like, and this is pretty minor, is with the Ocean Breeze palette, it seems like there is a little gold shimmery overlay on the colors, but once you swatch it or use it, it disappears. Overall this is pretty decent for the price and if you happen to like the colors, go for it!
You can find these palette and many more HERE.

More Madd Style Cosmetic Swatches
Yep, I placed another order a little while ago and I got these not too long ago. Except this time I ordered 2 sample packs. Total: $9.25 that includes shipping. I just can't get enough!! Also, these come in clam shell containers, but I find them to be a little messy, so I de-potted them into my own 3 gram jars for ease. These are swatched over Urban Decay Primer Potion.
